Hi, thank you for explaining, I have 1 question: I registered as free user, so as I understand , the 3 courses (Penetration testing student, Penetration Testing: Preliminary Skills & Programming,Penetration Testing Basics) is enough to pass eJPT? My main goal is to learn basics, so the goal is to have strong foundation so I know what to google, read (hacking books),... and minimize the need for videos, and maximize the knowledge gain from google, as a real hackers do :)
@WilsonSecurityGroup3 жыл бұрын
I think those three tracks are all it will really require to pass eJPT. There are other valuable resources out there like TryHackMe that can give you some other challenges, and also the course Practical Ethical Hacking by The Cyber Mentor on Udemy can be a great supplement to the eJPT material.

I'm curious. What's your background i.t wise and experience wise. What other certs you have and how do they compare. I have sec + and aws ccp. Thinking about grabbing this cause getting a cyber job challenging rn.
@WilsonSecurityGroup3 жыл бұрын
I have about 4 years of Cyber Security on-the-job experience. Also have the CEH, CHFI, CISSP, and Sec+, and the eCCPT. eJPT is pretty good for an overall over view of pentesting and the best poaret is that it is practical. I would say it is the same level of difficulty as Security+.

Yes that is a great idea! I wouldn't take the solutions too seriously or as something you shouldn't look at. They are there for your learning purpose and there is no problem with reading along with it

I would recommend any where from 2 to 3 months. If you are putting in about 20 hrs a week, maybe even 1 to 2 months! The lessons are pretty straight forward as well as the labs so putting in those types of hours should fly pretty easily.

Hi. What type of plan should i choose? Monthly yearly or premium?
@WilsonSecurityGroup3 жыл бұрын
Yes the have significantly changed the plans now. If you are planning on getting more than the eJPT, I recommend the premium. If you just want to get eJPT to try it out you can do monthly OR the starter pass and get great value. The premium has labs for all the courses, the other options only have labs for eJPT. If you looking specifically for networking training I would recommend whichever option is best for you (monthly vs yearly)

@WilsonSecurityGroup3 жыл бұрын
Great question! From my understanding the Starter Pass does not expire. The Starter Pass also does not rollover into the more expensive plans automatically (for example services like Netflix, Hulu, etc rollover to a paid plan after 30 days of free trial). So you can use the Starter Pass for as long as you want and if you choose, never move to the paid model.
