Cylus O'Brady ya know throughout most of the episodes after season three they used magic for personal gain a lot and nothing happened

"I KNOW HOW OLD HE IS!" 😂😂😂 i always felt so terrible for Leo during this time. His struggle was so layered. Multiple fears came true at the same time in losing one son by protecting the other, and not only not being able to save Chris, but having him die in his arms. And having Gideon, someone he trusted and admired and who was also a part of this magical organization he himself had devoted his life to, be the one targeting his child must have been so jarring. He must gave felt so directionless, like there was absolutely no one he could trust. And then himself having to be the one to kill Gideon (which directly violates a white lighter's nature) would set off even more of an identity chrisis. And then to make matters worse, the one thing that would probably have made him feel better, being around his kids and knowing they're safe, he can't do because he feels so out of control and he doesn't trust himself. And THEN you have Barbus whispering in his ear. How he survived this, I'll never understand. I always felt like Leo's various inner turmoils and struggles didn’t get enough consideration from the audience.

Yes and also he was grieving over Chris´s death. and it wasnt a demosn who possessed him it was a god and the Avatars that wanted him for his f**up version of a perfect world.

They did grieve for him - however, some time has passed by the time of this episode. Piper was at first avoiding it (denial) and then comforted herself with the belief that if baby Chris was born, the future Chris would be reborn as well and he would have a second chance in life. Leo, however, was stil actively grieving (anger stage). Sorry, 17 years later but still 🙂

I recently re-watched seasons 7 & 8 and something strange I realized is that Phoebe never holds baby Chris. The closest she comes is in this episode when she's giving Chris back his binky as he's crying in his stroller at the wedding. I have three nephews myself and even though I live two and a half hours away from my oldest nephew, I held every one of them when they were babies. One of them still is. Very weird behavior for an Aunt, and since she couldn't get enough of holding Wyatt, it makes it that much stranger, to me, at least.

I got the feeling they never cared about Chris. When there was a chance he wouldn't exist, Pheobe wasn't sad or panicked or anything. And they never really incorporated baby Chris into the storyline. He was always an afterthought. Wyatt always took priority.
