This movie was released on 1st January 1977 and on 25 January 2023 watching this song and feel it's me standing on the sea shore, on the station watching the city's grandeur from far, just trying to pretend everything is fine and cool, when nothing is going as you wish. Perhaps even after a 100 years this song will have the same flavor and delight.

My all time favourite song is Ek akela is sehar and I also believe Ek akela is best sad song in the history. Dil dhoondta hai is also one of the best sad song including many others like beeti na bitaye raina etc. A true Legend Bhupinder Singh, Gulzar.
