Khan sahib, wonderful to find someone else who remembers and appreciates Hakeem Rafi. I heard him when I was 14 (over 50 years ago) and was entranced even at that age. His version of "no haram me na kalisa meh" and "Eh Meray humnashi" the best I've heard in all that time. I bumped into him quite by accident about 20 years ago and he was delighted when I reminded him of his masterful days.

jitenanita subak ro is Persian I guess meaning cool breeze blowing lightly here... subak is low and ro means speed ie (raftar) hence rafta rafta (ahista ahista) gradually
