Dada , like millions of other people I am a big time fan of yours , needless to say, and can never stop admiring you. But I want to write something about melody ( or lack of it today ) which was discussed in this "mulaqat" Hope you read this and would appreciate if I get a response ( your opinion on this ) 2 days back all of a sudden I got to see a song on TV in one of the Indian restaurants here in US as I was lunching . That song just hit me like an avalanche . We rarely hear such songs now . Found out that the song was from the movie Kalank ( in 2019 which was supposed to be flop 🤣) but the song was sang by none other than Shreya Ghoshal and what a music !!! Sadly a singer of Shreya 's talent does not get proper songs which justifies her talent . IMHO this was one of the songs which really explored her talent. What music ( by Pritam ) and the words were also beautiful. I have been listening to this song for the last 2 days . The song is "Tabah ho Gaye" from the movie Kalank. So the point is people still love melody and have no other options than to listen to oldies because such melodies are hardly created now. And good lyrics of course . And sadly of course the politics in Bollywood and Bollywood music is to be blamed . Hope Bollywood can overcome this phase and we can again have those golden days of 80s and 90s when I grew up 🙏 So people like us are hooked to a living legends like you and yes, we listen and eagerly wait for each of your song release on your channel . 😊
