They knew each other since they were very young. Their chemistry could not be denied. You could see how their oneness translated on and off the ice. They had a love that was rare and timeless and classic. I'm so glad we still get a chance to see and experience what that rare and timeless love looked like. I'm so glad their relationship produced such a beautiful child. A true love story for the ages.

There is so much love and respect in their relationship. Wow, how I wish he would have lived just a little more. They were married only 4 years. Way too short of a time. She will never have that kind of innocent love again. Impossible.

No one need fear; there will ever be an intrusion on the majesty of this pair; they simply were the grace and beauty of truth, devotion, innocence and purity embodied in a brilliance of talent and trust. No one should ever even give a thought to anyone ever minimizing their time together---it was golden, and will never be repeated like this again. So we ask why all of this?? i feel there is a message about the impermanence of life in their journey; that no matter how deep, how wonderful, how much love, beauty and glory, they too are spiritual beings having a physical experience and the shortness of this gift brings this message home most clearly. We are all so fortunate to have shared their journey. Though I would have wished that for them, It did not need more years to impart its ever lasting message, for them do fulfill their destiny, and for their legacy to be all it is and always will be.
