@sahilagarwal309616 күн бұрын
Yeah, each day, every day I miss those days. I know I had a lot of problems around me as a child but staying happy was not one. I had a very very rough childhood with an absuive father, but I felt more content back then. I had nothing fancy to be very honest. Just the basic requirements fulfilled. Sometimes I had to cry silently to myself even for the smallest of things. But something in me was always happy. It all changed when I turned 16. I started understanding the weight of responsibilities on my shoulders, which my father was failing hard at. Since then I have never been truly happy. Responsible, empathetatic but never happy. Hopefully I will get there someday.

As a late 80's kid, I've seen lots of social changes. One thing that hasn't changed is that lots of young ppl tend to feel alone sometimes.. it's part of life at that age. It's's your brain's final stretch of growing into full maturity... Scientifically, your scull doesn't fully fuse till your 25 and that's when your brain is fully developed as well. The one thing that I've seen change tho is the increase of depression in young ppl. You can laugh and sneer all you want but social media is a huge contributing factor to this equation. We don't socialize like we used to. We stare at our phones all day, and believe everyone is doing better than us ...or that everyone is just as miserable as we are. We are social creatures by nature. Taking that real life social experience away will make us hate the world and ourselves.
