The fact this hasn't gone viral is pure nonsense. Just goes to show that even with all the talent in the world you still need a dash of luck to actually get heard and go viral And on a side note I've always wanted to try putting the words that come into my head while listening to music onto paper and this may be the first beat I successfully do it. This song speaks to me on so many levels. It's absolutely spot on. My two best friends don't get why I'm not in a place where I want to hang out, I can't enjoy myself knowing I'm not where I want to be in life.. hell I arguably don't even have a life aside from my career. One is married and the other has a girlfriend and a kid. It's just me and my dog for now. I gotta shake this nice guy personality for starters, shit just doesn't work in today's age... Well did you ever put ink to paper? Reading your comment reminded me of my younger self. My guess is you are probably in your younger to mid 20s oor maybe I'm way off, but I remember those same thoughts and feelings around that age. Bit of advice from someone whose now in their early 40s time moves fast and all the woes you feel now won't last. Life will come at you fast and you will find yourself laughing at your younger self realizing that it never really was that bad. Its never easy finding purpose, especially in today's world with all the overstimulation it brings. I asked if you put the pen to paper because like you I always wanted to get what was in my head, out. I've said to myself many times that I want to make music and unfortunately none of my friends around me had that same itch so at times I felt lost but mostly bored. I would write here and there but never committed 100% Don't do what I did and lose sight of that inner calling. Set a time to sit at the table with a pen and a pad. It doesn't always have to be lyrics. Writing to yourself for yourself carries serious fucking weight and will serve you well when your future self reflects on your writings. You will be able to revisit your past self and see what worked and what didn't. You will have control of your thoughts and when you can control your thoughts and grow in confidence the world will be yours. Get after it kid and if there's one takeaway from all of this, its this, Don't die with your music still inside you. 😉
