Last question: When B left the work, can we recalculate the LCM for only A and C? If yes, then their total efficiency will be 3+1=4. So, time taken by A and C to complete the remaining 16 portion of work is 16/4=4. So total time taken = 4 days (before B left) + 4 days(after B left) = 8 days. Please clarify the doubt.
