EL AL 767 777 747 at Athens Madrid New York & LAX

A look over time at EL AL Israel Airlines from it's 1st 747 at Athens 4X-AXA to one of their 767's at Madrid and to the newer 747-400s at Newark and Kennedy and finally a 777 taking off from LAX.

Great to hear those engines again on the 747- something a photo can't give you!! and what a backdrop with Athen's in the background - gives a great sense of atomosphere,classic ELAL footage!!! I should say I miss that Delta livery on 5:17 - they should have stuck with that one. Nice work

I love Israel, I suppose it's all about taste? I love ELAL and love your movie Starboard 76! I have created ELAL 747 & 737 on my flight simulator and created my own sound panel featuring Israeli Pilots & Crew announcements. Almost the real thing!

@hmasurg of course, some very long sleeves here. But as to the Delta question you posed and I overlooked.. yes that is what is known as the Ron Allen scheme on that 727 hich was replaced by the Deltaflot or Wavy gravy flag design. I would have loved to see a Delta 744 in Allen and then in Wavy...oh how cool would that have been. But i did get Delta's 777s (and other airc) in both of those schemes. And only ONE MD11 wore the Wavy..and yes, I got it ..just barely, *whew* lucky there,
