Very nice, looks like you were traveling first class. When I went I was second class. I agree it is a very scenic journey. I remember when I was a kid there used to be train service from Mexico City to Aguas Calientes, that was fun. I hope they bring that route back. Sinaloa can be dangerous, but there are a lot of safe zones as well .
