El Chiflon Waterfalls - Part 3 of Mexico Adventure

It was about a 2 and ½ hour drive from San Crostobal to the El Chiflon waterfalls. This was one of my favorite stops in all of Chiapas. The magnificent blues of the waterfalls took my breath away! It was an easy hike up both sides with all of our kids and you get a slightly different view from each side.
Definitely grab a quick bite to eat at the restaurant at the bottom of the falls. Then set aside 2 hours for each side of the waterfall to enjoy the beauty of nature and stop to take many pictures. We would also recommend the zipline. It puts you right in the center of the action!
Our next stop in our Mexico adventure takes a quick break in the quaint little town of Comitan and then on our way to Lagunas de Montebello National Park. We even walk across the border to Guatemala! Stay tuned for the next episode!
