To the critics, If you want it simple, and true tango-like then you should be listening to the original arrangement. But this is a "virtuosic" arrangement, a fun interpetation of the song that applies different piano technique. It's not meant to represent true argentinian tango but just a fun and fancy way of playing it. It's entertaining to play for friends and family. I enjoy playing it.

Acostúmbrense a ver o escuchar más allá de bien o mal, el concepto de diferente.a mí ni me va ni me viene si la esencia de su interpretación es la rigidez del tango . Me gustó porque más que el tango me gusta el virtuosismo y escuchar las dos cosas me permiten disfrutarlo. Cuando deseo escuchar un tango como tal, sencillamente busco a Pazzola, Mancinni,etc. Y lo disfruto. Lo demás es FANATISMO absurdo. Bien por la interpretación, mi like

El Choclo... One of my favorite songs, up there with Besame Mucho, Tico Tico no Fuba, and Manha De Carnaval, played so wonderfully. It has a grand tone at the beginning, and a soft but hard tone towards the middle... The ending landed just perfect. I could not find a single mistake in this! You transitioned the whole piece so wonderfully.
