There's a line but presumably you could take your time. There aren't people in there urging you ahead like during normal HHN hours. Also once you've gone through there's nothing stopping you from getting back in line again.

It's definitely much better at night and with all the scare actors in place. But I really like seeing this version too because you can take in all the details and work they put into it without being distracted by everything else. This is more of a preview of the maze than anything else since it was before HHN opened.

No, but you do have to wait in line. Me and my two best friends waited almost an hour for El Cucuy on Halloween, but it was worth it in the end. Lost my voice and proud of it :) lol

In the month of October is when Universal Studios Hollywood will host a large event known as Halloween Horror Nights. When you buy a ticket you will be able to walk through themed mazes and go on rides. If you are willing to pay more money, you can do so and be able to go to a special buffet at the park. (Sorry for a late response but I hope this helps for next year.)

This is the actual Haunted House, but in the daytime with no actors and stuff. At night when Horror Nights opens, it's actually REALLY scary.

This maze scared me the most...i think its cuz wen i was little my parents used to tell me "el cucuy te va a garar" nvr believed it...then u go in here it was a nightmare come true...it was so kewl!!!

not feeling this one too much. i'm sure it'd be better at night w/all the other effects; but very lackluster in the daytime. also not a fan of the "fake" dead ppl. prob is, it'd be 'too" macabre if they were more realistic, but then maybe just don't put anything there and let the mind wander?? the "dummies" just look stupid like this..again tho, maybe they look better in the dark?
