@@CBrown9758 yep sure did.... the concert is called the black movie soundtrack show at the Hollywood bowl it started in 2014..2016 and 2019 i think Reginald Hudlin was the mastermind behind the whole project...Craig Robinson hosted and Marcus Miller has been the Musical director all three separate years...this year i think purple rain was one of the many feature movie soundtracks ...i read Marcus and michellendechello played his tune Rush Over from his album Tales also featured on the Love Jones soundtrack and they had solos ...i wish i could've seen that

I never realized El Debarge couldn't dance. I guess when you can sing love songs better than most people, you don't really need to know how to dance very well. It was a little cringy for me to watch because I love the guy so much that I want him to be able to master everything he tries to do musically. And Uncle Charlie never disappoints. He's a natural showman. One of the best to ever do it. EVER!!!
