As I do with almost every year, I joined this year's Eurovision MEP. As soon as I heard this song, I fell in love with it and I knew that I had to edit with Xiaoven because I felt like the chorus fit them so well.
Unfortunately, the editing progress of this video was difficult. During the creation of this video, I have lost my dog. His void will never go away but I will always remember him with the beautiful memories and I am grateful for all the years I spent with him. I listened to Sarah Hoggan’s speech about euthanasia and her statement really helped me to reflect on my feelings. “Grief is a natural price we pay for loving.” This powerful line has stuck with me and I will embrace my grief and move on.
Honestly, this mep part has been a nice distraction as I dealt with my grief, so it really has a special place. I hope it doesn't get struct down due to copy-right. If that happens, I will try re-uploading a pitched version.
To properly deal with my grief, I've informed my studios that I will be taking a short hiatus from editing. I might still work on personal projects but I will not be participating in multi-editor projects for the next upcoming weeks.
