Where in this wide world can man find nobility without pride, Friendship without envy, Or beauty without vanity? Here, where grace is served with muscle And strength by gentleness confined He serves without servility; he has fought without enmity. There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent. There is nothing so quick, nothing more patient. England's past has been borne on his back. All our history is in his industry. We are his heirs, he our inheritance.

I'm not to good at riding horses yet but I do know that these animals are not abused.For example Pasi Fino horses naturally walk like this but the legs go a little faster(I'm learning to ride paso fino)and a lot of people think that they are abused when they are in fact not.Plus this horse is not being abused trust me.These horses get better care than people do.

@swNapoleon16 well... there are other ways, like teaching them to lift each leg, by verbal commands, once they learn you can take 2 short whips, only as extension of your arms and touch each leg you want them to lift and say right front, left back... etc... this is all done at liberty, and you have previously taught the horse that "stand"means he has to stay in place, they after a while they know what you want from them and the stepping in place happens naturally with no force.

But no one is standing tapping him to Piaffe.... It looks like he's doing it himself ... I mean there could very well be someone hidden behind the fence but I dunno... I was looking for a whip or something but it could be this horse was just trained to Piaffe to this song... or something.

the thing i find funny about the people who say that its abuse is that thr training is basically just enhancing something that the horses do naturally. have you ever paid attention to horses at liberty in the field? they do all of these same movements
@angel16222214 жыл бұрын
@TheSqueenie well yes you do have a point, but this video was taken in 08'. this horse probably knows much more and better without the owner having to use such commands, and usually they show in soft sand, so it wont hurt the horse. horses aren't THAT fragile. if this horse didnt like what he was doing he would be pinning his ears back or refusing if he didnt like it. this horse seems to know what he was doing, if not he would be trying to escape somehow.

they achieve everything through pain... I hope we can leave all of this behind someday, just because it looks beautiful in our eyes doesn't mean it's right, these horses are like robots. Pull, pull whip, hold back... poke... Look at some of the Carolyn Resnick videos, the horses might not act as perfect but they show their true spirit, not their mechanical human created movements.

@elizabethfurniss i know personally that tying a horse for 3-7 hrs does not damage a horses muscle structure my family has been doing it for generations & hasnt had any problem what so ever we tie them with enough space so they can move we dont restrict their movement we tie them so they dont leave we tie them we dont ride so that they become used to being saddled so that when we do ride its not any thing new to them and dont buck us off trust me in the old west they also tied horses to poles.

If the horse "dances" by his own, then please explain to me, why it is tied?
@priscillaalbarran93628 жыл бұрын
its tied so that he dances in place , its a piaffe but without a rider controlling the bit the horse will walk and "dance" thats the reason he is tied

Look at him go! I have never seen a horse do that so long. Any criticism is from people who don't understand that there are different ways of going about getting the same quality movements--I would far prefer this drive and action to the lazy, underworked, overschooled, under driven horses most (white)people pass off as being dressage-trained. Some of the best horses I have EVER ridden were Mexican bred and trained. They actaully WORK their horses, and challenge them.

@angel162222 that little piece of carpet doesn't provide much of a cushion to a 1500+ pound animal stepping with such force... there are other ways to teach this, but they take longer and people have to actually try to show the animal what they want not make them do something they don't understand.

obviously people are blind. theres a carpet on the ground, and its dancing to the music, this is mostly done in "charreadas" in mexico. AND from mostly all the "terrified" youtubers, they obviously all ride in english (dressage) saddle, this is done in western, so of course there going to think of this as something "cruel" to them, need to research stuff more before saying something like "ITS CRUEL ITS DOING MORE THAN 200 SOMETHING STEPS IN DRESSAGE" type of thing people..... srsly

@myluckshamrock - Glad you agree, there are some real whacks on here, that don't know anything about horses, but think that they do. I bet this video ran for more than it showed, that poor horse was probably out there slamming away for 5 or more minutes it just doesn't show it because it was probably off a phone!
