El Mirage 20210907 Part 1

Decided to avoid the CROWD and go the day AFTER Labor Day. Arrived at El Mirage around 0515, got permit, parked, prepped and off we went. If you notice the "right side" steering, it is NON-FUNCTIONAL! It's a ride-grip so you don't bounce around TOO MUCH! First location we hit is "The Hill"(?). Climbed the hill and got drone video and photo shots of the sunrise. We then headed to the Lakebed area to ride on the Land Speed Record surface, tho we are no threat to any speed record, it was fun. The west end was as smooth as glass, while the main part of the lakebed had several small pits, that were avoidable.
