What a splendid place, a real gem 💎. And so close to Manta. I would love to stay there. Thank you for taking us along. A real treat.

Thanks for sharing Don. The sound of nature in the background has such a calming effect. Enjoy watching your videos and your wry sense of humour.

What a gorgeous and relaxing place! Love it when you take us on your adventures. I bet the sounds of nature at night really beat the loud music, honking horns and barking dogs you get to listen to every night in Manta!

Don, thanks for going back and added Spanish subtitles to this video. This is perfect! Thanks so much for your efforts.

My pleasure. It takes time to convert all of my videos and somethings, there are a small amount that I just cannot get to work. Eventually, all of my videos will have the Spanish subtitles.

Nice location, Don. I've only been through Manta once, and that was when I was on my way to Puerto Lopez way back in 2010, so didn't get to see much of the area. Will definitely keep this on my list of places to visit.

Beautiful place. Thanks for sharing! Question for your next Q&A. I just watched a video about living in Boquete, Panama, and he showed capturing a HUGE scorpion in his rental house there. You've never mentioned scorpions. Is it because you live in a high rise? Or because your building has regular pest control? Scorpions freak. me. out.

@@joann5157 I know Cedar Park. When I was going to High School, Reagan, Cedar Park was way out in the country. I'm sitting here right now watching a Golf Tournament in Austin and can see the 360 bridge in the background. Sure makes me homesick.

A beautiful place, too bad it's so close to the road and the traffic noise.
@DonShader2 жыл бұрын
I asked Jeff about that and he stated that the little bit of traffic noise is pretty much gone by the evening. I think it would be really cool if it was a couple miles off the highway.

Would you need special vaccinations for malaria and other things since you are in the rain forest?
@DonShader2 жыл бұрын
That's a great question for a doctor, not a KZbinr. I haven't had any such vaccinations. Before I came to Ecuador, I asked my doctor about getting these and his answer was, yes, for sure if I was actually going into the Amazon. This place is just a rain forest outside of Manta. Bring mosquito spray, even though I didn't. I have seen a mosquito since I've been here. Have fun. -ds
