I like the quieter places that you can get to enjoy some of the local scene in a pace that you can set yourself, not that more touristy do not have their benefits because I like them too.

There's one thing that needs to go together with a cloudless blue sky day on a beach, that is a constant fluttering breeze. Drives away the humidity and heat build up.
@ayngelina4 ай бұрын
Agreed, the entire time we were in Manila we never noticed the heat because there was a steady breeze.

I couldn't find any information on websites either. I think only kitesurfers know about this place. But if you plan to go I also wrote about the logistics in more detail and also the history: www.baconismagic.ca/philippines/sibaltan-el-nido/

Hello A & A. Living slowly looks very good in Sibaltan. Love the fish in coconut creme. How are u dealing with mosquitos? Thanks 4 an amazing video with great audio!
@ayngelina6 ай бұрын
Mosquitos actually weren’t bad there because it was so windy, kite surfing season. Although I always keep a bottle of mosquito repellent on me I didn’t have any issue the entire time we were there.

@@ayngelina good news on bugs! U have so much energy, do u ever get really sick?

The biggest thing that has been bothering me for the last few months is actually the pollution. I have been coughing non stop and have had stuffed sinuses. But we're heading to Bandung tomorrow. We're so tired of the 40C heat and I have 10 videos banked so we've rented an airbnb and I'm going to catch up on work on my website, we'll join a gym and I'm so excited to cook and not have to search the streets for every meal!
@lizcarlyle24775 ай бұрын
@@ayngelina Love not searching 4 chow on the streets! Bandung is a cool city. Gym sounds great, esp with ice cold plunge! Can u take sudafed nasal contestant? Helped me in Jakarta and riding in becaks. Cover up & wear sunscreen. Now dealing with BCC & AK on face & chest. Stay cool(ac).Really makes a difference in the tropics.

I like your willingness to get off the beaten track and avoid most of the tourists. Thanks for sharing your "secret" places! Beautiful beach! Totally off topic - do you remember the name of your dermatologist here in Cuenca?😂
@ayngelina6 ай бұрын
Thank you, it's not a winning formula on KZbin to share lesser known places but these are the most special places to me. As for the dermatologist I looked to see if I mentioned it on Patreon but I hadn't, just the subsidized pharmacy in Cuenca (Farmasol) but I am pretty sure someone asked me on a live....I'm just not sure which one. The fastest thing would be to ask Andres on Whatsapp, his info is in all my videos. For $40/visit she's definitely worth it.

Wow, adding this to my list! And a wonderful place to put your money into the local economy. ❤ How do you deal with securing your cash-cards-passport in something like a beach hut, or do you keep it on hand all the time? Not at all meaning to insult the Philippines or anywhere else, just in general. Also, suddenly realized what a great mic you use - the audio was terrific on a moving motorcycle!
@ayngelina6 ай бұрын
It’s the DJI mic with a wind muff and you’re right it’s really good. Alan carries all our money, passports and some of my cards. I keep others with me just in case something happens. Here because no one was around we decided to take a chance on the beach hut. I have so much gear I can’t bring everything with me in walks so I just had to have faith in humans.

Good question. When i traveled in remote areas in Indonesia(Timor, Moluccas, & New Guinea(always left my passport, $ & cards with Kepala desas(village chiefs) & owners of stores.

Canada is actually like that in the summer, a lot of people don't realize it but we usually have a heat wave in July where it will be 40+ for a couple weeks.
