I stayed in Poblado, Medellin for 8 days 2 weeks ago. Loved it! Heading back in early December. I heard that visitors no longer need a covid PCR test to enter. Do you know if they are placing other monitoring measures? Their coronapp did not with US cell phones

I just got back, and i had issue with the app, kind of out as app. I would recommend using someone local number # if you know someone. Other than had to hit someone up in line at the airport. They won't let you in without the scan q. And you have to fill out the Colombia Migation forum again to leave out of Colombia. Got to have done for arrive and departure.

@@user-fi7vd9id8n thanks for the info! I was there for 8 days on October 21. I downloaded the Corona app but of course didn't work with my number. After researching, I found that the government kind of abandoned the app as a tracking tool Mach in May. The technology was full of bugs and flaws. I was wondering since the PCR is no longer required, there must be some kind of self reporting / tracking measure in place to take its place.. But perhaps they are following Mexico's example since tourism is booming there.

they carry plastic bags and most dogs are trained to not do that there.

Yes it's mandatory outdoor. I don't think you want to get harass by the police for not having one on. I seen then charging people up about it.

nowadays it's just mandatory in closed places like malls or stuff like that, but not on the streets
