No matter how many arrests are made, unless you deal with the structures and ideologues that enable this madness, you will only pave a way for new actors. Even some of el-Rufai's statements connote the divisive nature of his persona. He has tried his best within his power, knowledge and aptitude, but I'm scared that he may not be the right man for the job to bring peace. He has actually worked extremely hard, given a lot of credible insight, but it his actions and words that disqualify. He will only do 2 things; 1. Create a suppressed environment, with the fundamental divisiveness still embedded in the state and the hate for diversity still pretty much prevalent or 2. Create a mother of all violence, which is bound to happen very close to his re-election I don't want to talk about the various biases that he proved with this interview, we know how people feel about the other side in this country. But el-Rufai is having his first run as an elected leader, accountable to ALL PEOPLE of DIVERSE ORIGINS and BELIEFS. He needs to pray to God for the wisdom to lead all of them, and not just tick boxes like an administrator. He does not have a mandate given by a boss to follow, he has a people to lead in a direction of progress, peace and self-actualization. THIS IS A STORY OF A MAN WHO NEEDS TO DEFEAT HIMSELF FIRST IN ORDER TO DEFEAT HIS ENEMIES

I grieve daily when all you read in response to a crisis are insults and abuses from YOUTH, it makes me wonder if we as youth have anything else to offer other than abuses and insults? the man is not communicating in some strange language but English and it is only expected of educated youth to do his findings and respond bitterly should he or she finds otherwise but not in Nigeria,youth here have hired themselves tweeting and writing abusive statements only ,no solution,no facts no information but strictly assumptions. Anyway as for those who see themselves ready to blaze a change in Africa pls rethink bfor responding and pls thro away sentiments and religion and ask yourself what opportunity is out there in politics that i can do to make a difference in.No one will be remembered for his use of strong vocabulary to insult or abuse a failing or failed politician but all will be remembered for what they did to make a difference.

El-rufai , you may be right in your discussions but: (1). why don't you take decisions that will put in place structures that would stop the herdsmen from entering into farmland and destroy farmer's properties rather taken compensating farmers as solution? (2). Someone asked the government to help and drive away the herdsmen from their farms because they (herdsmen) have occupied the their farms. You commented that it may be one of the false alarms, instead locate the person because this is a recorded evidence. Have gone to that village and find out whether it is false alarm or not?. (3) How would you feel if a non indigene came to your town, destroying your properties and you are saying in the spirit of co-existence they should be tolerant? I think non-indigene should agree to stay within their boundary. that is only thing that promote peace. (4). @ Channel tv, you should be asking questions that solve problems not asking for guest's view. Questions like the above three. I will suggest you should go and train more on question innovation that solve problems. You guys are trying.

Victor Ndulewe I guess your hearing needs to be inspected by a doctor. 300 individuals have been arrested for banditry and cattle rustling Some youths have been arrested in central kad who were involved as armed kidnap gangs , and there are settled fulani involved in ethnic killings from nasarawa who were arrested NPF can not arrest a Mali ,Niger or Senegal fulani outside Nigeria even for a crime committed in Nigeria where there is limited evidence beyond hearsay and most of the witnesses are dead , an extradition would be required the governor has committed to ensure any further crimes are avoided and if any the perps caught in the act and put to justice engage your brain and hearing next time

We,the black race are difficult to understand.Why would what ECOWAS made laws about for the trans migration of Fulani herdsmen traveling on foot and trucks with their cattle’s(being the instrument of invasion and the bait for acceptance because people eat cattle meat)across national boundaries in West Africa be binding on Nigeria.Nigeria can pull out of that useless treaty.And we can raise cattle’s ourselves so let the Fulani herdsmen know that we don’t need the cattle

abdullahi mahmoo : As far as I am concerned, I have every right to how I feel about a situation, I am not saying they shouldn't give them, in fact it's been paid. My sentiment here is that a whole lot of occurrences happening in other states, claiming lives and properties as well. Is the FG doing the same to those states? Is the FG paying the states to compensate those affected?

Has the FG not emptied a quarter of it's piggy bank to compensate aggrieved militants in the ND , even during the Ife Modakeke crisis , FG compensating citizens for failure to action it's repinsibilities if not a new act get with it !
