I´m a musician, perfectly aware of it all , still , besides the effort it takes to work out the tech aspects and play the basic lines on top of loops blah blah - I didn´t recognize any Joy Division in any notes he was playing tbph ... actually you can say it also "loses" the "spirit", not only the" feeling" ... " feeling" ... " feeling" ... "feeeeeeee - liiiiiing !!!"

I'm sorry, but I've tried at least 5 times to watch this whole thing but I can't. Why does the drummer randomly switch from a pad to the real thing? Why does he play the drums in a way that I can hardly tell is Disorder? Why does the guitarist play the guitar first? Why does he play clean? Why does he use the bass pitch shifted for the vocals when he has a guitar on the same body? I cannot understand this "cover". The only thing I like is somewhat the bass tone.

He plays the guitar first to set the loop. Its easier to set the bass loop off of guitar than guitar off of bass. It's not clean, definitely not clean, but not enough distortion either
