I went to six flags on the 21st and even tho it was 96 it was such a good day to go because there were no lines, I went on toro twice and managed to get the first train of the day, nitro 3 times but friend went on 6, I went on Batman 4 times, roaring rapids twice, and kingdaka

I went to great adventure last friday and I got on el toro for the first time, and basically no one was in the line so I got 4 ride (I would have had more but my dad stopped me) best ride ever

Today 6/26/2024 Wonder woman looks like a horrific breakdown. Look at the top of pendulum it's all black like a hydraulic line blew or a motor blow up . I never seen it look like that in the past. Something definitely wrong there. If I remember something like this happened when it first opened and was down a longtime. Do you have anymore information on it? Huge week coming to not have it up and going for there anniversary.

Now Jersey Devil and Kingda Ka are closed. Began closing Saturday late. Fed up with these coasters taking turns closing. TOO MANY PREEMPTIONS....And they close some of the best randomly. I hope this changes if and when the merger happens (I am thinking 95 % The Cedar Fair merger is happening at this point around the 4th of July. Flags Over Texas is reinstating Tuesdays beginning next week. Right now these types of closures are happening chain wide.

@@JD.778 yes - one or two or three - maybe one water ride along with a couple flats - maybe one big roller coaster - maybe a coaster with a couple flat rides - Most parks have a closing like this here and there - But with 6 Flags its excessive - and it seems to be chain wide - One visit last year we had Mine Train, Medusa, Nitro, Batman, El Toro Zumanjaro, Wonder Woman, Log Flume all closed in one day. Recently one da we had WOnder Woman, Zumanjaro, El Toro, and Superman all closed. Another time Zumanjaro and Jersey Devil plus MIne Train. Another time El Toro, and several other big rides. It seems this park takes turns. Jersey Devil has had three stretches of closures. El Toro has had at least one extended closure. Kingda Ka is in one now - Zumanjaro started out open and closed weeks into the season. That was to stay closed but management decided after negative backlash to reopen it afterall. I hope this situation improves soon. Plus Log Flume - WONT EVEN DISCUSS THAT ONE - Promised to open Memorial day last ear and they just kept taking the thing apart and that still is nowhere near done. Do not even remember when I saw that open.

@@JD.778 Shocked because there’s 0 consistency. El Toro and Jersey Devil close every other week, and that’s two whole coasters with one train ops. That’s awful. For the attendance and the hype this park gets, it’s shameful it’s being operated so poorly. Three train ops should have started when the season begun and all ride should have been open. This is the 50th! And all the 50th additions are still mid-construction! This is my home park, been going here for many years and please believe me, I have so much love for it. But this is ridiculous.

@@Jcjc-lr4bf El toro has been open a lot this year. Maybe more smaller closures but every coaster does that. RMC is the one to blame for JD. You think two coasters on one train is awful? Are you joking? So many other parks have ONE train on every coaster. I would say that’s pretty good considering this park has 14 coasters. I don’t think there’s many parks that open with their coasters on full capacity for opening day. Yeah it took longer then usual this year but they’re at a good point now. As for stuff still being constructed well that’s on corporate. Last year they were deciding how they wanted to do things but they got going to late and here’s the result of that.

@@ColiwoodStudios WAY TOO MANY PREEMPTIONS - worse than KYW when they were an NBC affiliate - And they usually are quick to close the more popular rides and coasters. It seems like they take turns rotating Jersey Devil, Kingda Ka, and El Toro (which by the way was originally going to be called the Rumba in 2005), and Zuminjaro. When they really get into this 6 Flags Cancel Culture they even close two or three big things in a day. Now Dorney seldom closes anything regularly. When they close something its a smaller attraction or ride. They rarely close a major coaster or major ride.

@@ColiwoodStudios I am guessing late summer/early fall - ANOTHER DISASTER. This park has had too too many mishaps since covid. And they are less crowded as well. Right now they cannot handle the crowds they used to draw. I think Selim Bisshole f-----ed up. He should have been the first one to go with this merger. I just hope this does not spread to Dorney Park which also is not what it used to be but far better than any of teh 6 Flags Parks. It sees every 6 flags park with more than 10 coasters has these problems I am told.

The told me the flume would be open May 26 of last year ad here we are. They really took that thing apart slowly and just kept us in teh dark - no idea when that last ran-I would say it last ran September 2019

I don’t know how this park has made it to fifty years when every weather excuse is offered up as to why there are so few people in attendance. Who really believes that in prior seasons this park was not packed on a hot day in June, and packed with so many people that it simply was not possible to not have every single ride operating at full capacity. Every restaurant open to full capacity, every cart staffed, souvenir merchandisers strolling the park, and all the cues filled for virtually every ride. They are failing miserably, from a business perspective, at creating an environment for in-park/per capita spending around every turn, on top of a gate admission that is considered a good value. All of it designed to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction, especially among customers paying at the gate, by simply meeting their expectations. In the video, I see few employees (and those I do see, look like they could use a good bath), zero security, zero grounds quality people, grass that looks like it’s never being watered, and other areas with overgrown weeds. What’s most unfortunate for anyone that knows the once great beauty and history of this industry leading seasonal park, is that it doesn’t appear that they will even fulfill their promises for refurbished classic attractions like the log flume and giant wheel come July 1st. I actually appreciate your efforts to speak positively about this park, however, its not in-line with consumer’s expectations because the park consistently over promises and under delivers. And, when it’s not doing that, it simply fails to update the general public about progress on its plans.
