Who doesn’t love castanets on a Spanish Classical piece? Sammi Micklewright from Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Company came by the studio to rehearse for our upcoming concert in Quincy, IL. So I thought I’d record a quick snip and share.
The main melody in El Vito comes from a traditional folk song and dance from Andalusia Spain. So many people may recognize the melody in the second half of this video. Very passionate and emotional, definitely my favorite part of the piece.

Hello brother, can you teach me how to adjust guitar strings so that I can play flamenco? I just bought a guitar and I am confused. I don't know how to adjust them.

Hi, not sure what you mean by adjust? If you mean set it up to the best playability, then prob best to take it to a shop for someone to help out. Is it a nylon string classical or flamenco guitar?
