I have thought about english subtitles before and I have also discussed the idea with Bernie, but I want to keep the videos on my channel in a Vlog style in order to capture the spontaneity. When we start out shooting a Synth Vlog we have just the main topic in mind, but then we go as things unfold. (I might edit an outtakes episode by the end of the year in order to give you guys a glimpse into our filming process). We have just filmed a Moog Opus3 Video (the winner of the synthesizer challenge kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3abfXeLaauHgaM ) This video will go online in the next couple of days, and then you will see that also unexpected things were happening while filming. Nevertheless I have decided to edit these parts into the video to make the Vlog a bit more like "Real Life". Stay tuned....Best regards from Germany, Ralph

When Bernie and me started with these Vlogs, we just had the topic in mind and were doing things on the fly without much preparation. Both of us are non native english speakers and Bernie doesn’t want to speak english on camera. I am aware of the fact that there is plenty of room for improvement ;-) We learn as we go…In the last Vlog we did together, we introduced a new approach. After every sub topic, we stop, recap what Bernie said, and then Bernie takes the camera and is shooting me me while I translate his stuff. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6jRmKabgrhmeLs Running a KZbin channel with regular updates takes a lot of work and time. Transcribing, Translation and adding subtitles would increase production time. I rather do more Vlogs. It’s a compromise, I am trying to get the best of both worlds ;-) Moreover, I have put the word “Vlog” into my channel name for a reason, because it implies that things are sometimes done in a “Quick & Dirty” way (hand held camera etc.) Hope that clarifies a few thing about our approach. I would definitely like to see more tutorials like this. I'm not a musician, but I've always loved electronic/sequenced/Berlin School style music and I enjoy hearing about how this music is created. I would be interesting in knowing more about how he works with delays to get the proper timing, and what sort of thought process he uses when he constructs his sequences (that's probably a tough question to answer, he probable just does what sounds good to him!) Anyway, I enjoy watching these videos and maybe someday my long ago German knowledge will let me understand more of what Bernd says as he says it (I already at least pick up bits and pieces)
