At last, Filipino people’s standard of singing is going back to the quality, tone of voice not just about belting! For years, the basis for Filipino music was the beauty of voice/tone during the years of Kuh Ledesma, Basil Valdez, Nonoy Zuniga, Joey Albert and Sharon Cuneta. Then came Regine Velazquez where she changed music to be BELTING as the standard for good music. Wishing that the ERA of the 70’s and 80’s will come back where good music were produced just like the songs that Elaine sang in this video. Elaine’s voice is beautiful and her tone is amazing. She’s very talented and her vocal technique is top tier.

Please do a research... Vocal coaches all around the world reviewed her performance and none of them mentioned an error on that part. According to them, it's a descending technique wherein the sound is fading slowly which is difficult to execute. No offense to most of you, I'm aware that her techniques are not famous and were no longer used by filipino singers because nowadays once you're a belter, you're doing a great job but for those who understands music really well, they could tell that her techniques are not easy.

Wow eto yung gusto kong panoorin ulit para makita ko ang medley at totoong version kasi during the Final ay puyat at pagod ang mga boses at yun ay hindi talaga maganda sa boses and we must respect lalo na Grand Finals. Sa totoo lang medyo nga sablay yung transposition ni Elaine during Grand Finals dahil pagod na pagod na sila at kaunti ang tulog pero ok lang yun. Ngunit dito na appreciate ko na yun pala ang tamang tranposition ng notes niya at malinis tapos yung whistle niya ay the best din. Ngayon ko na appreciate ang totoong kinanta ni Elaine kasi noong Grand Finals ay hindi lang piano ang presence kundi mga drums, etc at back up singers pa. This is the best of Elaine Duran’s rendition. Pang world-class singer na talaga siya.
