Every time I see Ms Paige, I wonder how such a huge voice comes from her. Clearly natural and trained.

Thanks a million for putting this up--had no idea it existed, and loved every minute, especially the first couple. Surprised that Michael Crawford didn't show up to mention "Billy" ('74), which gave EP her most significant role prior to Eva Peron. And great to see Paul Nicholas at the New London, where he and EP would co-star in "Cats" two years after this program. Thanks again!

Glad you enjoyed it!! I'm desperate to see the whole 2000 Palladium 'The King and I' which you uploaded a section with Elaine from, I've never come across that anywhere... If maybe we could arrange something? *fingers crossed* :)

Ann Kirby at 14.38 is my Auntie. She and Elaine are still good friends to this day. Elaine describes her as her fairy godmother. I haven't seen this since I was 9 years old when our entire family gathered around the tv, thank you for posting
