I have hooded eyes, but when it comes to eyelid room. I have almost the same amount as a monolid eye. I only have a tiny corner on the outer edge of my eye for eyeliner space. Just as wide as the tip of my eyeliners usually are. I find this so helpful. Been struggling for years and never worn eye makeup or any makeup at all, for my entire life because of this problem. I’m 21 currently and it’s now I’m really trying to dig in deep online trying to find ways to put on eye makeup ❤️ I’m half Swedish half Singaporean Chinese and my mother who is Singaporean could never help me since she has double eyelid. My mother has really pretty makeup and all my guy friends keep on complementing her hahaha ❤️❤️

For over a decade, I’ve done my monolids with a tracing of dark eye shadow rather than actual eyeliner. It just works on monolids a lot better (at least for me, with the smudge and the hidden lid and all that) and looks so much more natural! But I had no idea that it is now an actual thing that ppl do too. I am so glad I am not alone anymore.

I’m searching for so many tutorials bc I need help 😂 I’ve never done makeup before & I’m struggling with liner (My eyes are semi-monolid, like they’re tapering in towards my nose with my eye crease but when I open my eyes, the lid is so puffy it barely shows I got a crease 😅 my cheek bones are also pretty high up so the outer corner of my eye & the shadow of my puffy lid (in the brow-bone area) kinda create a really defined shadowy corner thing)

man wtf do i do... my right eye is double lid and left is mono. I used to have both mono but it somehow turned into a double lid after a day of constant crying, I dont know what to do to make my eyes look the same.

@@shangchi5729 I usually just put a little more on my monolid eye so that it looks kinda equal. it really is a struggle

you can try to sleep with double eyelid tape on one of your eyes and in the morning when u take it off then it will stay double lid for a while. if you want it to be a double lid forever you will have to try wearing the double lid tape everyday for a few months. it works. because your eyelid forgets its old fold when you put double eyelid tapes, and if you do it everyday then it will be permanent. :)
