Oh my gosh…you ticked all the boxes with this one! Every single one is the core of my wardrobe. Over the past few months, I have been embracing thin belts over my usual wide belts and found that in many cases that it just really elevates the overall look. I am 4’8” with a mature body type with large breasts . Finding fashions that work well with my munchkin body can be a challenge to say the least. During the cooler seasons I mostly wear platforms…my favs are my Doc Marten and platform sneakers. Hey, at this puny height, I greatly appreciate the opportunity to gain a few inches in height allowing me to view the world from a whole different perspective! I, by no means, dress in accordance to my age (70…holy crap, how did that happen???!!) and often receive some lecturing from my age related peers. I love fashion and invest great time (and money 😬🤪) into creating a wardrobe that fits my personal style and tastes. However, it doesn’t exactly fit in with the “over 50” (or whatever) aesthetic. Somehow I just can’t go there…I can’t even bring myself to walking through the clothing store mature women section. I feel like if I even touch those clothes I will break out in hives!!! Keep up the good work and content!!!!

I’m a petite, too, and have a similar body shape to yours. Another skirt/dress length I really love is that just barely covering the kneecap. These end at the slimmest part of the leg above the ankle and show off the curves of our calves. You might want to try one, I’ve heard that “knee-length skirts/dresses” are a coming trend. It’s been tricky to find them for decades, everything has been mid-calf, which I don’t think is as flattering. Thanks for another great video ❤

Block heels under 3 inches are my daily go-to, I love them, if I can find comfortable ones. (I never was a big fan of stiletto or other thin heels). That extra 2-3 inches of height from my block heels makes me feel a lot more confident and look better, I think. I wasn’t always a petite, I was 5’6” in youth, but have lost several inches because of aging and spine trouble. So, I think I have a bit of a complex about feeling short and stumpy. I only discovered my new height a couple of years ago, but it also explained why I always felt chubby at my “normal BMI”, which was based on the wrong height. I lost 35 lbs. and feel both slimmer and taller, not to mention much healthier.
