Peach Tree Growing From Seed Time Lapse (128 Days)

Time-lapse of a peach tree growing from a seed to a young plant. Peach pits were extracted from fresh store-bought fruits. The shells were carved off before the seeds were putting under cold-stratification in a fridge for 60 days. After that, one seed was chosen to sown into a pot. It quickly sprouted into a seedling and developed lots of leaves and branches. At the end of the video, our peach plant was about 2.5ft tall.

I once had a Peach seedling that was about 6 inches tall and a lot of flies kept pestering all my plants and eventually killed my peach and several other Apple, Plum and Lemon seedlings by constantly popping out tiny eggs that would eventually turn into worms and finally deadly mites!

There’s organic sprays that could of helped with that. I have an apple seedling, lemon that I check everyday to make sure they look healthy.

It was watered about twice a week.

It's a cultivated peach i think not a wild one, is it bought in a marmet or directly picked from a plant? How many chances has to germinate? It can be planted in that month?

It was a store-bought one. Our rate is about 50% If you grow indoors, it can be started in any months. Outdoors, late Spring or early Summer works best.

Nothing special! We just give it plenty of light and regularly watering.
