Elara Doorne (Romanced) Reunion - Republic Trooper - War for Iokath - SWTOR

The new SWTOR Content around the War for Iokath story includes Malavai Quinn and Elara Doorne. In this video, my Republic Trooper was married to Elara and so this video contains
1) Deciding to reunite and continue the romance
2) Siding with the Republic in that key decision.

I love how she sounds and seems a little socially awkward because of being by the book type of person like Miranda Lawson which I like how she opens up as you be friendly to her not treating as resource or a defector but as a friend and eventually a lover which she reveals who she really is as a person like one of the scenes your talking to her and she’s gone and deleted all of her squad mates reports so they have to rewrite them. Which to me she strikes me as a fun person once she opens up as a person I think I’m sort of like that ittakes me a while to trust and open up to people then once I do trust a person and have opened up to them I can be funny

Yes, I don't think you would be alone in that. I don't think I'm funny except around people who know me for who I am and accept me, and then I can make people laugh. Elara is socially awkward, I think because of her focus on doing her job to the letter of the law. That can put people off her (and does). But she's actually really thoughtful and caring. Not just in the romance either - if you treat her kindly as a non-romantic Havoc Squad leader she softens and buys you things.

@@spartanhuntergaming Yes very true. Compared to the (normally) softer, gentler voices of those that were raised in the Republic, Elara's British Accent (used a lot in the Empire in SWTOR) marks her as different. And if memory serves, really obvious to those around her too, likely causing more suspicion about her reasons for being in the Republic army, despite her real intentions being honourable.

Quinn seemed slightly jealous, yes he’s vary “work first life later” but he looked INCREDIBLY irritated in a way I haven’t seen before

True but she did say the Sith along with herself were tired of suffering under the Eternal Empire’s boot and they only did it out of self interest and revenge. Although at least she did help us but it was apparently a temporary alliance. Even Theron said himself after we won the war against the Eternal Empire.

Yeah it does, it was probably a bug at the time (Note the time stamp on the video - 5 years ago). Helmets needed to be off for certain conversations - especially where romantic interactions occur. I have no idea if that's true now. I doubt Elara would appreciate having to look through the goggles on your face!
