as a beta, i know most things Saturated effect DOES NOT EXIST in legacy no strafing jumping was in the beta but was removed when it exited (ikoran and kiridian were the few who could jump) healers cannot deal damage so when they get targetted they basically cant do anything 12:50 thats a gnolrok

For me,Legacy's map feels more "full" (plantlife scattered around,no place felt too empty or boring). Recode's map is neat but you tend to not go explore because there's not really much to explore. Also loved the random coloured meats; people would kill creatures just to see the different coloured meat 😂

I always explored the recode map more because people tend to be everywhere, not just all huddled up in oasis. When I explored in legacy, I either did so because a kos group had taken over oasis or because there was something in particular I wanted to find, such as the hidden cave in mountains.

I personally like the legacy swamp a lot more than the recode one. The legacy swamp felt alive and it was almost like scattered islands in a big pool that spilled into the ocean, it wasn't the most popular biome but I enjoyed it and people would visit it and spend time there. Pretty much no one spends much time in the recode swamp and it feels bland with only a bunch of trees and a river with a small island in it, it also feels so much smaller and more dead than what it used to be.

Man I miss legacy too there was just such a different vibe, while I do prefer the controls of recode, its map just feels so empty and saddening, but the legacy map is so full of life and fun!! I just wish more people played legacy cause then I would. in legacy you use tail whip everytime you move like if you walk you can only use tail whip if you stop you use the head. Used to have colored meat for different creatures.

Recode is much better in my opinion, even talking about economy I've been playing cos probably since 2 years and it was so difficult for me to get anything, everything was very expensive because tokens were pretty rare to find. It wasn't that bad tho because there was more diversity in people playing different creatures other than kaijus n wardens like the case now. The mechanics and gameplay is much easier and realistic in recode. I complain a bit about artifacts, events and new updates but honestly everything is much easier and less boring with new missions and all. I just miss a bit the old map, it was very small but just the way it was built was more fun, there was so many little caves and holes you could go through while flying and that big flying isle, and also the high rocks with waterfalls on them. It was a bit more mystic compared to now, recode feels a bit flat now.

In terms of survival features (natural distorts barely count as one) I think legacy of one by a sliver because it had temperature (there was supposed to be temperature for summer), npcs, plants that move instead of being stationary, food spawns and meat physics (doesn’t count) however recode is better but only by a bit

Legacy it's better and recode My mostly like in legacy is: You can grab or latch to them when your lion and you have to many kids they can hunt It better for survival and documentary You can nest faster it give 10%+ into 100% You can fish You can go oasis to hunt and get out of oasis and came to your home and feed them and more. The most scariest happened to me: a kora attack as in a lil cave, he cower and keep breathing us and we all running.my tricks as hygos when hunting is cower and when I stand it means it's my time to ambush my prey. As a player who played both versions, i can say confidently that recode is so much better than legacy. Some people just get nostalgic and attached to legacy, and i experience the same thing sometimes. But the recode is just the polishing that the game really needed, and it's amazing. I always see myself going back to legacy to enjoy the past experiences i had with my friends.

Legacy was really laggy for many players, i crashed after an hr or two every time i played ON A HIGH END PC. But seeing as i can play a max server on a phone in recode is very nice. Ui is a lot easier too
