Everything that I loved about this song: 1:09. Rano's rap part in the chorus. (We all agree.) 2:25. Baekgyeol's voice at the back. (His and Seungyeop voice blend so well. I keep replaying that part.😭) 2:49. Wonjun's last rap part 3:04. Romin's rap part. (I just love how calm his rap was.) 3:30. Yejun's adlib. (Sometimes I'm thinking why he's not the main vocalist.) I love how this song has strong INFINITE (and, to a lesser extent, B2ST/2PM) vibes, both musically and lyrically. It was cool and clever for them to tap into an easy niche by doing a (fantastic) style of K-pop that many people actively say they miss - especially as a boy group, since a lot of people prefer boy group styles from earlier generations. I think it’s a much stronger use of nostalgia than doing music from an era most fans won’t remember like the 80s or 90s, because I feel that nostalgia is stronger for stuff you’ve actually been there for. I always love K-pop groups that feel like they were made by someone who really had a passion for what they’re making, and actually had a clear, heartfelt vision in mind.
