@@STYLEDIANA0408 Hello I see you asked for a tutorial on this some months ago🙈. I’ll try to film and upload it in July. I promise❤️ While we wait, here’s a tutorial on a basic bodice that can help you eliminate zipper bulge👇👇 kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZbUmZuoaK6YrKc And yes, the skirt part of the dress will be the exact same as the skirt tutorial

How many yards of fabric?

About 2 yards

Nice tutorial but you didn't mention 2 things: 1, what determined the width fold of the fabric; and 2, how many inches did you off from the shoulder. Tanx for your time.

Hello. Thanks for your observation. This will benefit others as well... 1. So ideally, the width of your fabric should be at least 1.5 multiplied by the higher of your bust or hips circumference. You can do 2 if you want it fuller. For sheer fabrics like chiffon, silk... you can do up to 3. 2. For the off-shoulder part, cutting off about 4"-5" is okay especially if you're unable to measure or ask your client. Since the upper part has elastic, they'll be able to pull it up or down (adjust) if necessary. The measurements used in this tutorial will suit a UK size 8-12 perfectly

@@estherdairo6979 Okay Shoulder to chest line is 10” I took 5” away as the off-shoulder then I marked the remaining 5” down from the baseline. Can we talk on Facebook if you need more explanation? Please send me a dm @ Gracey Stitches 👇👇 facebook.com/gracey.stitches.7
