This wasn't my most favorite band at the time... but I do believe they were criminally underrated. They should have been bigger. I was in middle school at the time. My mom had a very eclectic taste in music, but anything punk or grunge-like wasn't her cup of tea. I saw this music video and told my mom I needed more of this in my life. This song is still with me.

Riding on any wave, That is the luck you crave, They don't believe it now, They just think it's stupid, So got anything? Anyone could have done, Who would've cared at all, not you. Another heart has made the trade, Forget it, forget it, forget it, I don't understand how a heart is a spade, But somehow the vital connection is made. Riding on anything, Anything's good enough, Who would've thought it of Someone like you, Just as they brought me round, Now that they brought you down, Roundabout and roundabout Who wants a life anyway? Another heart has made the grade, Forget it, forget it, forget it, I don't understand how the last card is played, But somehow the vital connection is made.

I remember playing this CD at a party...the stereo had HORRIBLE anti-skip. Everyone would jump up to make the floor rumble and this one track would keep looping and repeating from the beginning....My 90's memories. :))

This album is too short. Every song on this album is too short. I have never listened to an album that has made me feel so rabidly wanting more as this one.

I think that was the point. Elastica chose to look up to punk and Bowie instead of to the Kinks and Beatles, unlike most of their contemporaries. And I will die saying Justine Frischmann is the coolest woman ever.

Listen to Pink Flag by Wire, their inspiration. The shortness of the songs make it endlessly relistenable

Top band with Justine the singer being humble in her approach. The band look great and I bet they had fun making this video. I would love to play my bass with the bass player and make music

Probably Scott. Seems like a Scott thing to do. Either that or some production head like Emma Tammi suggested it.
