When I was a young lad in my mid 20s, I was in a bar band that had this song on our playlist, and at gigs where we’d play this song, as soon as the final guitar chord rang out, I’d start back up with the intro riff and we’d play the song all over again, because I’d always notice people in the crowd rockin’ out to it - and I didn’t want that to end… so I’d intentionally get the band to play it twice in one shot! I hadn’t thought about this song for almost 30 years, and it was killing me because it was such a good song and I didn’t know the lyrics… so after a good amount of googling… here I am!
