why did we plot k = 1 ? it does not make sense to have 1 cluster right, so why plot it?

How do we infered that, this elbow point is important for deciding k? How do we reach that statement ? Why only that point is impportant?

Because for values of K < Elbow point, for every increase in value K there will be a significant decrease in sum of squared error, but for values of K > Elbow point, for every increase in value K, sum of squared error will not significantly decrease. That's why Elbow point is the optimal point and you can reaffirm this by observing the nature of the graph...

@@RishabhSinghChauhan-vy8py okay but that's obvious right? so basically, we decide using SSE that yeah "this" is going to be the optimal point. So in a way the entire graph is the elbow method, right? the process of finding out the optimal point is the "elbow point"? is my train of thought correct?
