Thanks from Poland bro. In my country we have also drummajors but they have less importance than directors. So it is common practise in local orchestras that drummajor and director is same person :/ In fact... Few years ago we have some good drummajors. Now only some people with inborn talent do i well. In Poland we are using maces but not so long, max hight 120cm but typical that i use is 103cm. I like your movies it is a great sorce of information how to spin mace well. In my whole life i only see three times drummajors (pol. tamburmajor) who have spin their maces. I want to be fourth one ;) Thanks for great tutorials. Sorry for my bad English :)

Appreciate these videos. I see you do some spinning with what looks like a Peacock Traditional Signal Baton. Do you ever spin with a Peacock Military Signal Baton? I have one of those and it seems so heavy.

Does the mace cut through the frontal plane of the body during the elbow wrap, or does it stay parallel to the body?

Could I ask the brand of the white mace you use in these routines?
@ArtyMac5 жыл бұрын
I use a variety of maces. I use Peacock's American Maces in most of my routines because this is the most commonly used maces in the US. For my tutorials targeted toward Scottish/Highland drum majors, I use a Dalman & Narborough mace or a Moffat Mace
