Excellent, very good guide. Just wanted to point out, thanx to another comment which has helped me massively, is that you can do a kind of SUPER JUMP if you hold the run botton at the same time you jump. I went from missing the one jump 12 times in a row, to making it 2 for 2 by holding run. From other comments in videos I have seen, it appears that this is a little known fact. Great video.

oh wow, I thought this was common knowledge. you guys didnt play the other souls games right? you used to only be able to jump while running in dark souls, because you didn't have a button for jumping specifically. you held b or circle to run, and then pressed it again when you needed to jump

me, looking up this vid: yeah, i think i got everything in raya lucaria... i even got the graven school talisman- i'll just run through this real quick to see if theres any little things i missed ^_^ me, within the first 3 minutes: [learns of 6 things i never saw and we've only just gotten to the first room of the castle] ...okay, yeah, i definitely need this video.

There are 2 items at 23:50 that you don't pick up but walk right by. A Golden Rune (4) and a Trina's Lilly. I don't see why it would be intentional but fextralife's maps of the Raya Academy also don't show the rune either even though they pick it up in their all items video. Maybe they're considered to be outside of the academy?

Same. Just a small caption could have gone here, as you can see the video edit showing they did not make it first time either, saying that this might take some practice. So far, I've died to shit like that 95% of the time compared to normal enemy and boss encounters. I always have hated the Jump Mechanics in all the Souls games, I dread this stuff.

I did it first try, after watching the error of several people dying, and reducing my weight, I jumped from the uppermost part of the rooftop, to land on the parte of the other roof that its lower. Good luck mates
