jev pair the fists with blue dancers charm since the fists weight like nothing and you arent wearing armor. Its like a 15 percent dmg increase at under i think 10 equip load but its 2nd only to the red feathered branch which is kinda hard to optimize

Note: the spin combo of morgott is actually one of his best openings, he always does it after the cartwheel roll swing and the hammer slam, and can be entirely avoided by dodging forward left. It's subtle but the spin is actually angled in a way where it goes over you when you roll that direction. It's a good opening since you only need to roll once since it can't track well when you are behind him.

Pertaining to his curiosity of Morgott being able to transform.. morgott is an omen which gives him the ability to summon lesser versions of himself… but also he uses the mimic veil to go in disguise.. it’s how he was able to escape wherever basically without being seen or contested. He would use the mimic veil to disguise himself as the others to blend in

Hey Jev I just started my SL 1 run as well and I got a few things that could help. You can buy the basic finger seal from the vendor grandma at roundtable and grab flame grant me strength for defense and damage. You can't use it yet, but you can get the T\wo Finger Heirloom for +5 faith. Start your buffs with the Physick because they have the longest timer, then golden vow, flame grant me strength, swap the two finger talisman back off for whatever you prefer, then use Cragblade and walk in. You could also get the Blue Dancer Charm for exponential damage increase the lighter your equip load. I would recommend the Axe Talisman, Ritual Sword Talisman, Radagon's Sorseal (The +5 buffs to strength and dex will give good damage), and then the Blue Dancer Charm. And remember with the talismans, alot of the stat bonuses you need for weapons can be found on random armor pieces. (The Omen Smirk mask gives strength, for example). The Physick can help a ton as well depending on the boss, for fire giant you can use the bubble as usual for any of his BS, and pair it with either the magic tear to boost the percentage of health the frost build up does, or the stone barbed to break his posture easier. Since it’s a level 1 run I recommend the uplifting aromatic perfume, it applies an attack buff and gives the same one hit save as the bubble tear and you can hold 10 if you find all the perfume bottles so that’s 10 free hits 11 if you use the bubble tear

Idk if you're gonna read this or not but my first thoughts that come to mind for a level 1 build of what you can use is the rykard spear for the boss fight and the Cinqedea which is Caelid under the Bestial grace area. Both require no stats to wield and both are a somber weapon but the Cinqadea is a dagger but it does free up a talisman slot and you can get it at the start. Good Luck!

Best thing to do is get yourself some throwing knives or some throwable object. If you feel like you're not getting damage in you can just chuck a knife and it'll keep the poise meter from resetting which will get you more staggers

You can get it from a scarab right near omenkiller and it is the most slept on yet GAMEBREAKING item in the game since day 1. I also just started a lvl 1 playthru. I used cragblade on Zwiehander up to the Fire Giant. I would suggest using Deaths Poker on Fire Giant and Godskin duo. You can wield the meteorite staff with rock sling by using the int tear in your physick and can kill the deathrite bird with it in Caelid for Death’s Poker. It is also a somber weapon which I was able to get stones for it to be level 9. Just a thought if you struggle with the damage output on fire giant like I was.

for poison STR build try to get to the consecrated snowfield as fast as possible so you can get the Rotten Greataxe from the duelist outside Ordina town its the only colossal weapon that has scarlet rot buildup and is also able to be infused with poison for double status effect use the roar charge R2 for a massive rot buildup
