You can actually deflect holy incantations and incantations in general that are projectiles with Tophs barrier but you need huge amount of FP and Mind level though.

I thought of this as well while watching ... but I think it would be easy, surely? With no ranged weapon equipped he could run past virtually everything. I suppose the bosses might get ridiculously tanky if they scale, but you could abuse talismans to increase the amount of damage taken.

Elden beast would’ve been a fantastic fight if you had torrent. Even without torrent, it has one of the most beautiful boss themes, boss designs, and boss arenas. Glad to see you doing the challenge like this, where everything is the elden beast, but it’s scaled to the original enemies health. I’ve seen people do DS1 with only Gwyn. And by only Gwyn I mean it is literally only Gwyn, no modifications to the health or anything, just standard Gwyn lmao. And yes, it is hell and the opening of the game took 7 hours.

I know this is an old video so this comment will probably never be seen, but an interesting idea that came to mind while watching this: "Elden Ring, but every enemy is a Black Knife Assassin". In particular, I think it should be a mix of the strongest ones that can use their full moveset, as well as having the invisible versions sprinkled at random throughout. I doubt it'd be the hardest run since they don't have as much in the way of ranged attacks and can't body block as easily, but it could be an interesting one.

My first playthrough I beat Elden Beast with the coded sword, and didn't know about it healing on faith damage. It took me about a dozen times. I just thought he had insanely high health and defense.

This challenge really forced Aggy to play this game like DS2. He had to kill all the enemy’s before moving to the next area without getting attacked, he healed through enemies attacking him instead of dodging, using bows to take out the enemies in front of him. Perfect ds2 comparison
