@@nafaeru1332 Oh, I misunderstood. Yes you need to fill up the madness bar too 100%. The buff lasts for 60 seconds. I thought you were stating it wasn't active in this video which you would've been correct. Long week.

Why would you need 80 faith if the swords scale mainly off strength and raising faith only lets you use more incantations and nothing more

Flame Art is Faith Based Scaling, Fire Art is Strength Based scaling. In order to get access to Flame-Art, you need to pick up the Red-Hot Whetblade at Radahn's Castle. Otherwise you will only have access to Fire Art.

Elden Beasts running away can be painful I understand. I have Flaming Strike equipped to both swords set to Flame Art Affinity. It's in Radhan's area.

Rykard's Incantation? I have actually never tried it in the game believe or not. If it's that fast on Radagon it should be on Elden Beast too since the have the same immunities. Then again though Elden Beast just runs away

Thank you! There's a couple of people I play with regularly and we all have 10 characters. We usually go up to NG +6 before deleting a character and trading our upgraded gear to a new character. This also helps select a better class for the most optimal point spread to use multiple weapons without needing to use Larval Tears constantly. We also trade using a Duelist Finger so we don't get invaded. If you need both talismans, but play independently, on a new character you can get the Winged Sword Insignia in the Stillwater Cave then get Millicent's Prosthesis through Millicent's quest. You can then complete her quest again in NG+ for the Rotten Winged Insignia. In all honesty it's not that much of a difference in damage IMO

No, these swords have the affinity changed to Flame Art. This primarily scales with Faith. Fire Art would be more on Dex. Best Dex Scaling Curved Sword is the Flowing Curved Sword based on damage alone

It actually took me 6 months to figure out after a Chase the Bro showcase. You would use the Ash of War followed by a heavy attack.

To be honest it depends on what you like. Jump attacks in this game with Curved Swords have insane DPS. If you're a caster I would go with Faith or Intelligence. If you're a weapon enjoyer I'd go with Bleed but the Beastman's Curved Swords have more DPS under the Bleed Affinity because it's Bleed scaling with points into Strength and B scaling. The mimimal difference with the Occult Bandit's Curved Swords still makes me recommend the Beastman's Curved Swords also. Hope this helps.

Two-hand the left armament, conduct the Ash of War. Power stance then conduct the Ash of War to place the fire on the right hand armament.

If you go to Redmane Castle you can find the Ash of War. Then climbing the ladder from the outside you can find the Red Hot Whetblade inside the castle to be able to change the weapon to Flame Art which scales with Faith

To my knowledge no. For Faith, the weapons need to be set to flame art. Fire Art won't work and to change the element you need the Red Hot Whetblade in Redmane Castle.

Unfortunately this build is really reliant on the Prosthesis setup. The fire damage stacking with the Prosthesis, Winged Insignia, and Thorny Cracked Tear it was gets the damage. You can attempt the following Talisman set-up but for a similar watered down version. But it's less optimal for the lack of talisman stacking and you can't get hit. Elden Beast may give you an issue though Winged Sword Insignia in the Stillwater Cave Ritual Sword Talisman in the Lux Ruins Thorny Cracked Tear in in the Consecrated Snowfield, east of Ordina, Liturgical Town

I use Golden Vow and Flame Grant Me Strength. Howl of Shabriri doesn't stack with Flame Grant me Strength but the Black Dumpling Helm does stack with Madness (almost typed Frenzy thinking this was Bloodborne lmao).

Jump Attacks with Prosthesis in my opinion was a mistake. I find it fun breaking the game after beating it properly fun as high DPS builds always existed in Souls games.

@@Mr_white_fox Yes it has to be Curved Swords of any kind that can be changed to Flame-Art Affinity. Them and Twinblades hit 4-times with power stanced jump-attacks.

I haven't compared the DPS between the two. There's also a lot of variance that goes into bleed, so it's difficult to tell. I wouldn't say it's stronger but it's definitely on par only if a boss can't have a bleed proc (like Radagon/Elden Beast). Otherwise I still believe the DPS with the bleed proc on a Bleed Build is still more efficient. Bleed Health loss is percentage based.

if you like to buff yourself a lot, this build will do similar dmg to bleed build. bleed build does around the same damage with less buffs tho so less effort. but there are bleed immune enemies in the game and fire is one of the best damage types in general. so i guess bleed is better overall unless enemies cannot bleed. this is just a very strong and fun alternative to bleed build. really easy to make tho since you can farm 2 bandits without needing ng+ and you only need to level up faith and vigor, with minimal investment into the other stats.

@@ahmed_42424 I have with multiple greatswords. Heavy attacks into poise breaks are pretty good since patch 1.09. But then again Elden's AR is off the charts compared to previous souls games. I just enjoy the build variety of this game.
