I have a theory about the bosses health bars: they are bugged. You see way way more 1px of health videos in elden ring than in every other souls game combined. There are videos of bosses without health that take a couple of hits without dying and that end killing the player. Boss Health bars are bugged

Bosses , the player, and everything else have a stat called Vitality, which gives you a chance to survive a fatal blow with 1hp (and some other stuff). Bosses have a ton of it. So what you are seeing is an intentional game mechanic. When they take a couple hits without dying then they are likely getting reduced to 10hp or something, then get a trigger off the mechanic, which may trigger more than once, don't know if it does.

Try to summon if some of them are hard to fight, they can easily distract them while you go for the attack, mimic would be good for certain fights

@@Crimsonblackblood666 Bosses like the Valiant Gargoyles give you plenty of time. Though my Mimic Tear just dies in seconds with just one Gargoyle present. Really wish I had Black Knife Tiche instead....she'd probably be far more effective against the Gargoyles.

@@gamester512 if you want to get the black knife assassin ash, you have to finish Ranni’s Questline to get to the area for it, on that land you find the summon boss battle, and once you beat it you will get it

@@Crimsonblackblood666 I know. That's part of the reason why I even started Ranni's quest-line in the first place (another being to get my hands on the Mimic Tear summon). Problem is, I think (though I could certainly be wrong) that I have to kill the Valiant Gargoyle duo to do so....unless I got turned around somewhere and went to the wrong area. ....Though I did just see a cheese strat for the Gargoyles that I might try next time (basically tricking them into falling off a ledge and dying when they leap backwards to do their dive attack).

I swear that boss hp is rigged. If I do 300 damage with one hit. Let’s say the boss is at 200 hp to kill him. I’m also low on health. Basically next hit wins. I swing, I hit him but instead of doing my normal 300 damage it does 199 lol that way the boss can take his last swing and kill me. BS!
