For anyone wondering how to lower the staircase. You need to pursue Ranni 's quest line. You can find her at the Three Sisters, in Ranni 's rise. You got to fight your way through the manor to get to her. Once that's done, she'll invite you to serve her. You'll need to kill General Radhan and go to the Eternal City before Ranni gives you a statue to put on the pedestal below in the study hall. Once this is placed, the entire building will turn upside down. You'll now be able to climb the staircase and cross the bridge to the divine tower.

Thanks a lot for sharing this. The pre-cleaning really helped. I waited first for arrowattack to run behind her and backstab and then instantly fully charged R2. She turns really slow whily using the Bow. At the top, after cleaning first, I used only the bow, also waited for her arrow because she kneels down when firing but you can shoot over the railing hitting her head. Still, stay 2 feet or so away from the railing in case she manages to shoot over the railing on her side because if the arrow hits YOUR railing you get the full blast-dmg which is fkn stupid that its just as much as getting hit directly.

At the end, rather than chasing him around, it was actually much simpler to start with a bow and fire at him in the initial alcove. He doesn't teleport from there. You can peek out from the elevator alcove before you enter, fire, then retreat. rinse and repeat. The ghosts don't teleport in because you don't walk around and trigger them. Once he's dead, casually walk around and kill each group of ghosts.

@@dripindividual8772 I had a +2 longbow and regular arrows - it only took 8-10. However, I aggressively beat him down with a +10 Uchi with fire ash on it before the final teleport, so he didn't have a lot of HP left. I raced up to him, beat him until he teleported, then killed the ghosts at each of the two previous locations. I tried working on the ghosts first, but it took too long to get to him. The ghosts move slowly, so you should have time to get the teleport before they reach you. He can't fire magic at you from the next telport location, so you can get rid of the ghosts at each stop without worrying - or that's how it worked for me. It pays to be aggressive.

My fight with this boss was EPIC! I chased her all the way to the top level of the building. I followed her all around the circular perimeter fighting her minions and whittling her down while healing up my own wounds until eventually it came down to last hit for us both. I had switched to my crossbow (not a big crossbow/bow guy either I just keep it for sniping sometimes) and was almost running out of bolts. Meanwhile she seemed to be able to fire her arrow spell with no cool down. I could barely get a shot off at her before having to duck for cover because of how low my health. However finally I took a chance and took a shot and it worked.

Just to say her magic aoe spell wasn't the one I had trouble with. I could dodge that pretty easily. It was her magic bow that messed with me mostly due to other enemies messing with my lock on.

@@smilesupport4312 apparently you've gotta continue with the main storyline, cos you need a statue to put on the pedestal by the save point, and you only get that after beating the red haired boss (I think that's the one - I've not done it myself yet, but another commenter here mentioned it).

Another method I've tried was climbing the ladder (miriam would still attack you from below so be careful), get rid of any rats in the way and wait for a moment to plunge attack. Her AI was sorta weird as she was just moving back and forth without casting sorceries so I pulled it off and killed her.

It's a weird bug with her scripting. If you go to the rafters when she's up above, she'll walk between the ladder and the first octagonal section repeatedly on a loop until she detects you again.

if you use throwing daggers you can stun him when he starts to shoot the bow. Poison daggers work really well on him once the poison starts going.

I'm watching for the button part. But the fight is easy if you go through, kill everything including the guys up the elevator, and then go back down, fight her using bone darts. 1 dart every 2 seconds will prevent her from doing anything

Thanks for the tips! This mage was so frustrating. I killed all the ash summons first and was patient with the mage. Ended up catching it in a walk animation with 4 melee blows using the Golden Halberd. Phew!

I just climbed up the ladder where the rats are went towards the center where there is a drop that would kill you. The spirit soldiers will follow. Do not kill the swordmen they barely walk at all. She will eventually climb up and run towards you. And when she tries to go around the spirit she will fall to her death. Might take a few tries but it beats having to chase her around.

Correction I used the same method about running ahead and killing the ghosts. I got the short range glintstone and thrust off it took one fifth of her heath after that I hit her a few more times with the sword. Then I just used rock sling 8 times and I only took one arrow shot but I managed to kill her.

idk if u missed it but somewhere on 3rd phase there is a laddder that u can climb to get to the beams above her, once up there she stops moving and fully de-aggros and jst stands there (idk if its bugged or intended but thats what happened for my playthru), and then u can jst get a massive drop attack on her. If u position so that when u fall and land she faces u with her back is against the wall, she stops teleporting away and shes a free kill (once again idk if its intended that way but thats how my fight went)

For anyone with a strong melee focus build, once you get to the top level and she keeps teleporting to avoid melee damage, you can climb the ladder up on to the rafters, she wont shoot you while you are up there. There are a few rats on the beams and couple more that will drop down from the beams above. You can run around up there and get over her depending on where she teleported to then jump down on her and land a combo before she is able to teleport away

My character class is Prophet. I got absolutely murdered the first time I encountered this Sorcerer. I found using Magic Glintblade extremely helpful. As soon as you trigger the Sorcerer, run back down to the entrance to the room and the Sorcerer should move down a bit, firing the magic arrow and disco ball spells. Hide in the doorway, peek out and lock on, fire some Magic Glintblades and hide by the entrance again. There's no need to run too far out, as standing just inside the entrance was fine for me, keeping the Sorcerer locked on once in range. Providing the Sorcerer is not too out of range, the glintblades will keep track with the Sorcerer as you locked on to fire them. When the Sorcerer moves up the stairs just keep using the glintblade spell as the spell casts above your head, preventing your shots from hitting into the railing when you stand behind it. Keep doing this each time the Sorcerer moves up further. Go up the stairs, take out the ghosts with your Magic Glintblade, all the time making sure to keep behind or to the side of a railing as the Sorcerer's magic arrows will just slam into the railings uselessly, be careful of splash damage if you are too close, and stay out of range of that magic disco ball of death spell that the Sorcerer will use now and then. Rinse and repeat. No problems with this system. Hope this helps.

One of the beams has a ladder going up. Get on the beam above and you can freely snipe her with a bow and she doesn't move or anything. Hence the item you get from her is called "downpour".

Here's a protip if you don't have good ranged options. You can climb up the ladder to the rafters and if you get far enough away, Miriam will kind of forget about you. Then, if she's positioned right, you can get right above her and plunge attack. It's kind of a tricky setup, but it's how I killed her without having a bow at the time. :D

U can just take the elevator upstairs and in the corner before entering the ring room, take out ur bow and shoot him/her while standing still and the npc will keep shooting close range spells and wont affect u whatsoever.

There's a trick to stop the mini boss from teleporting during the last fight . . . climb up the stairs at the last part then drop down at it and it'll stop telporting.

BTW. there is a ladder on the last floor. If you climb up there he will start teleporting under the beams. you can then do a jump strike on him. And for some reason he does not teleport away after.

Bro I just ran up to her and started wailing and repeated when she teleported then when she goes top side I just got in throwing dagger range and spammed that it also stops her casting and shooting was so cheese lol

there is a ladder that allows you to climb up to the wooden support beams over her this causes her to loose aggro and complete awareness when she starts doing this teleporting crap you can just get up there locate her position and ambush her from above its very easy to kill her this way

Tip: Darts, especially crystal darts, are very useful against her, interrupts her bow attack and are long range.

When go up elevator to top where she teleports to you can sneake behind her she'll pass by the door without seeing you then sneak behind for a high damage attack.

I don't know what happened, she glitched out for me. She was charging her arrow shot and never shot it as long as i was far away so i poisoned her and kept throwing normal arrows

I just climbed up the ladder to grab the item up there, then dropped onto her head and killed her. She didn't try teleporting after those series of events for some reason

i just stood at the bottom elevator and waited until she came down to me, it took awhile, but when she ran from the b ottom of the stairs, i popped out hit her a few times, then waited again. Long and boring but effective. Then in the last section, I cleared everything out, armed my crossbow, and "hid" behind the railing so she couldn't hit me. Pop my head out, fire a bolt, then hide again. Again, kind of long and boring, but it worked, and never got hit.

I actually got all the way up top, above the top floor, up the first ladder, onto the beams, then hit her with ranged weapon (rock sling for me). That brought her all the way up to the top floor after I caused enough damage. I went back down the ladder and killed her with melee. In my situation, she stood there idol once she teleported to top floor for some reason, and I was able to walk right up to her. It may have been a glitch or whatever, but I was happy to take advantage of it.

I've tried to kill the things ahead of her and she sent an arrow that killed me on the third floor.....through THE FLOOR!

If your are playing melee then try with the spear combined with jumb attacks.Once you are close enough you can easily kill her

PRO TIP: For guys fighting Miriam when the place is right-side up (the normal orientation of the building) have them spawn, and then double back and flip the building over. Miriam will fall to their death. Discovered this because I was curious if it would work. It works and it made me love this game several times more.

@@daxx3075 I also have to add that I got their health down to like half as well. I fought them for a little bit and then flipped it over. You get a different item for fighting them right-side up and upside down.
