I think I might have messed something up because I summoned red main Freya outside of the golden hippopotamus fight before trying to beat the dancing lion, and now read main Freya won't appear for me I can't summon her anymore

Hope this doesnt come off as rude, but to anyone who is still struggling using this strategy theres a better but extremely similar way of doing this. It also can be done at any level, doesn’t need fp. Same method, just instead use pulley crossbow with blood and rot bolts. You can switch the rot bolts on your character to poison after summoning mimic tear, this both causes two hp drain status effects simultaneously and saves you from wasting valuable rot crafting materials. This strat works on basically any boss effected by status blood/rot/poison/cold. I just beat this boss first try doing this at RL35 with +2 pulley crossbow, im not some pro gamer either.
