Nah you just did it wrong it always works for me I'm on NG+ with a few bosses dead and a few times before moving on even with the fallen stars ending

@@LuisJones-pv6dd "Use a sword, swing fast" I don't think you fully understand how the falling glitch works, attack speed doesn't do anything. There's usually death trigger in places where you might fall, unless you somehow get outside of the map or the devs overlooked a spot. BUT! There's also a fail-safe for falling, if you get stuck in falling animation you will die after couple of seconds. BUT! You can use torrent and start attacking on it which resets that fail-safe and you can keep on falling for a much longer time. After some point, textures unload from memory and enemies start falling, since y'k... Floor is missing undeneath them. And as they are not on torrent, constantly attacking... They die. It's not some 'You fall so hard, game bugs so you somehow hit enemies with your weapon and get runes' so neither attack speed does anything... You're just too far, so textures unload. So why the hell are you saying "use sword, swing fast" to him? Why? I don't get it. You don't even need to swing 'fast', you can make one swing every 10 or so seconds and you will still get it in the same time frame. The only reasons why this guy wouldn''t get runes is that; His PC/hardware is bad, frames or something with game settings and rendering. This person's game unloaded enemies aswell as textures, idk why. His hardware, not mine.

that's because it does still work if Mohg is dead, you just won't get the additional runes for defeating him. But you can still get the huge chunk every time

No you can’t. I tried this repeatedly, tried switching weapons and went through the same misery ten times in a row. It wouldn’t let me swing my weapon and after a few seconds, died into the void. People are better off getting the gold scarab, gold fowl feet and farming the bird and albinaurics. Better to have real in game farming than an already patched glitch.

You can keep doing it for a few minutes for about another 40 to 50 k runes that will be in little junks then reset to the grace site
