Hey, just wanna say I've been following this guide for my RL1 run and it's been great, just got to Maliketh and I'm still struggling with him but no doubt I'll get it done soon. I know people call you "discount ymfah" but I wanna say I really appreciate this guide and that your editing style is more focused, without too many memes and distractions while still being fun to watch and informative. Also two notes from my run: 1. the skip at 52:50 no longer works. 2. you can get to the Deeproot Depths by killing the false Mohg on the sewers, going to the frenzied flame and past two illusory walls, this way you avoid the two gargoyles. To do that you will need to get to Leyndell beforehand by killing the Draconic Tree Sentinel, which you can cheese by spamming Poison Mist behind him, he won't aggro and you can just wait til the poison kills him. 3. by doing the Draconic Tree Sentinel cheese, you can get the Ritual Shield talisman earlier which helps a lot.

@@Be_And Just finished my run, the strat for Radagon/Elden Beast is perfect, it's super consistent and always worked except when I did something wrong. Another extra note to add: for Malenia, don't use a frost weapon, but craft and equip Freezing Pots and throw a pot whenever she jumps to start Waterfowl Dance. The pot will cancel the attack making the first phase much easier. This doesn't work on phase two. Overall I died way less than expected on Malenia (36 tries) yet Godfrey kicked my ass (40+ tries), Tiche actually made the fight harder because I would never know if he was focusing me or her.

I tried Rivers of Blood and it honestly didn't feel worth it. Had to stack soreseals to even meet the requirements, so I got oneshot by literally everything, even through Ritual Shield Talisman. Decided I'd rather use a slightly worse weapon and survive 75% of boss attacks instead of 0%.

Good job ! Here i used the serpent-hunter, got frustrated , stacked int items to wield moonveil and that did the trick for the late game, i used a flame zweihander +25 to finish the game as a tribute to the legend :D

For the gargoyle duo at 39:15 I would've suggested walking over to the ledge on the right, guide the gargoyle there, and have the gargoyle fall off the ledge to insta-kill it. makes fighting the other one a bit better.

This is great, amazing music choices and editing, very comprehensive too! I’m following this and I have a suggestion to update this. When fighting Commander O’Neal, I found it much faster to lure him to the geysers in the Scarlet Swamp. Keep him walking over them, if he’s over one when it bursts, it does like 800 damage, took me almost half the time as you described!

This was incredibly well done. this made me sub. the editing the skillful play, and sly abuse of mechanics the music perfecto my dude Also i saw you've now seen gargoyle cheese and o neil cheese, but i legit never new about castle sol oneil cheese. bewitching branches are a unique as hell idea but they make oh so much sense, i just assumed they only work on common mobs and aren't all that useful. Also a really easy counter to this run, is to simply use swarm of flies - go to mohgwyns early, either via using the medallion from varre (online required) or using the snowfield skip (theres one that works on 1.04, and skips oneil/other medallion) simply get to swarm of flies and use the faith mask alongside godricks rune/mask and talisman or mask and commoners garb. paired with dragon communion seal which boosts bleed proccing you can get it to do so stupid fast. arguably less things to make it scale with damage end game, but would of made early game even easier i suppose!

Just completed my RL1 run between patches 1.05 and 1.06. I used this video as a guide. I had to audible on a few occasions, but this guide was still extremely helpful. Thank you. AND thank you for listing the music playlist. I would begin to play it to help focus up if a boss killed me more than 3 times. You introduced me to some themes and songs I've never heard before, but I like 'em. For anyone who cares top 3 hardest bosses for me (killed me the most): 1. Malenia 2. Maliketh 3. Radahn Honestly I thought Horah Loux would be #3 but rolling into his stomps is truly his weakness. OH and Fuck Radahn for turning up on me when I hopped on a RL1 character.

Just gonna throw this underneath my old comment: Just used this guide to complete my RL1 run again. Was interested to see how much of the info would be out of date. There are a few adjustments that need to be made, but otherwise, this is still a really solid guide with an amazing soundtrack. Patch 1.10 done and dusted. Also I think a lot of the bosses attacks have been refined because there were A LOT of two piece combos and severe attack tracking that I just couldn't do anything about sometimes. Bosses that killed me the most: 1. Malenia (Over 100 times this time, was about 40 less in the first RL1) 2. Radagon (RNG on those quick ass two pieces was outrageous)(Use crow talons, redmanes refused to break his posture) 3. Duo Stone Gargoles (-__-) Thank you again Be And
