I don't know if it's my play style but the last 2 bosses gave me less trouble than any crucible knight with shield

I can see that. Could be your end game build is strong enough to burst fast. Crucible knights tend to have bonkers poise so they are hard to stagger, unlike most other enemies, so that throws me off a lot since I usually use heavy melee weapons. They are begging to be parried, so once you get the rhythm down it's more straightforward. However, In a normal fight, some of their combos are just super annoying with slow attacks mixed into faster attacks.
