I see loads of comments about how phase 2's theme is great, but I think phase 1 is much more exceptional. I like how it dances around baroque a bit.

there are some annoying parts to this fight like a lot of elden ring bosses but holy shit, fortissax just like all the rest of the elden ring bosses has absolutely ludicrously magnificent presentation. just imagine hearing this score while dodging attacks from this humoungous almost abyss-colored dragon summoning lightning from the sky that corrupts you with deathblight as slowly as it did to him, then he pulls out that glaive and the second phase begins...

The storytelling is amazing. The part with the cello sounds like fortissax, and when the violin joins in, that could be godwyn, and when the choir returns, it might signify that godwyn has died followed by fortissax's anger

Nah i think phase 1 has the better theme. 2nd phase is great but personaly i can't follow the beat of the theme, so i like phase 1 more.
